Jon Buoy MK5 Recovery Module - GLO LITE

SKU 45-JON11xx
From $995
Select Case Color

The Jon Buoy Recovery Module is designed to make man overboard recovery a straightforward operation, whilst increasing vital visibility and buoyancy for the casualty. Now with Glo Lite technology which significantly increases visibility in low-light conditions.

Recovering a man overboard can be an extremely hazardous operation for both the crew and
the casualty, regardless of vessel size. The Jon Buoy Recovery Module is designed to make this a
simple operation, whilst increasing vital visibility and protection for the casualty.

Accepted as a direct replacement for one traditional Danbuoy, horseshoe, drogue, light and
whistle, specified within the World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations, where two would
normally be required. The Jon Buoy Recovery Module casing is available in four variations in
pushpit and bulkhead mounts with white or carbon options.

New for 2020, the Jon Buoy range will be further extended to incorporate the inclusion of Glo
Lite technology.

Glo Lite uses innovative retro-reflective technology that significantly enhances the visibility of
the hi-vis fabric, making it highly reflective and increases perception during dark conditions,
thus aiding location, leading to reduced casualty time before recovery for a more positive
rescue outcome.

We know you have options when it comes to purchasing your new equipment, but we're confident that we will exceed your expectations, and here's why...

We're real people!  Our team is made up of real outdoor-loving people, just like you, and we want to share our knowledge.  We don't just sell these products, we use them ourselves or have close friends and family that do.  We do this every day, and we love answering questions.  Contact us here.

More than a .com:  We're not just another drop-shipping pop-up site that the kid down the street started in his mom's basement (yes, that's really a thing).  We started our business the old-fashioned way and we've got the physical locations and warehouse to prove it.  Check out our locations here.

We service what we sell: We operate two USCG approved liferaft servicing facilities, and we're manufacturer certified for more than 10 liferaft brands, EPIRBs and PLBs, immersion suits, life jackets and more.  So, when you have a question or want the inside scoop about what's what, you'll know that you're talking to someone that's actually seen the raft, worn the PFD, or tested the EPIRB themselves.  Check out our service department here.

We take it personally: We truly do take it personally if you're not 100% satisfied with your experience.  We want to earn your business, not just for today, but for many years to come.  We understand the power of good relationships and the trust that can only be created from following through on the big and little things alike.  We're still human and we make mistakes, but it's how we handle them that makes us different.
