Battery Replacements for ACR, McMurdo, Kannad, and Ocean Signal EPIRBs, PLBs, & AIS Beacons
Simply select your EPIRB, PLB, or AIS beacon from the menus below. After completing checkout you will have access to print a pre-paid USPS shipping label to send your device to us for service. You will also receive a confirmation email with a link to print your label, or you can login to "My Account" at the bottom of the page to access your label and check your order status.
What you need:
- Your EPIRB(s), PLB(s), and/or AIS beacon(s) requiring battery replacement
- An empty box for shipping (can be used or recycled, just make sure it's in good condition)
- Bubblewrap, newspaper, or something soft to protect your device during shipping
- Printer and clear tape to print and attach shipping label to your box.
After checking out, simply print the pre-paid shipping label and tape it to your box. Place it in your US Postal Service mailbox or drop off at your local post office, then sit back and relax!
What to expect:
- We'll let you know once we receive your device and begin service
- We will contact you if we discover any issues or testing failures
- We'll let you know when service is complete and your device is on its way back
Don't see your model listed?
If you don't see your particular model listed below, please check our list of discontinued battery replacements HERE. Some older EPIRB and PLB models are no longer approved for battery replacement. The manufacturers of these beacons have determined that these units should not stay in service past their final battery expiration date, and recommend they be replaced by new units with updated technology.
