The Hammar H20 is a hydrostatic release unit designed to fit liferafts of all shapes and sizes. It is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon, which prevents it from corroding. The Hammar H20 needs no annual service, maintenance or spare parts. You simply install a new one every two years and dispose of the old one. With the environment in mind, the old unit is 97% recyclable.

Per USCG/SOLAS/MED requirements
- Liferaft Hydrostatic releases must be replaced after 2 years in service.
All new USCG/SOLAS approved commercial liferafts come complete with a hydrostatic release. You do not need to order one separately.
Recreational and ISO approved rafts do not come with a hydrostatic release. It must be purchased along with a cradle and rail mounting kit (if needed) separately. A $23 discount is applied to the cost of the hydrostatic when purchasing a Crewsaver recreational raft.
